Miguel Tejada of the Baltimore Orioles was on the disabled list due to an injury. Before returning to the team he played a couple of Minor Leage games, one with the Bowie Baysox (25 July 2007), and the other with the Frederick Keys (26 July 2007).
I was at the latter and took a series of photographs as he batted the second time around. This is the last of that series and he hit the pitch that came well over the left center field wall for a home run. He was taken out in the 8th inning and signed perhaps around 1,000 autographs, one which was mine. Frederick won the game in 10 innings, 3-2.
This image was taken with my new Nikon 18-200mm vibration reduction lens, which allowed for a nice, sharp capture.
