End Of The Path

I mentioned once before that during the time I worked as a consultant a couple of days a week for a client in Columbia, MD (where coincidentally I ended up living), I would occasionally take a lunchtime stroll into a very small wooded area.

Eventually, I brought my coffee can pinhole camera into this area and started taking pictures, one of them being here. This one that was taken by holding the can against a tree and printing on watercolor paper using the VanDyke process.

The path actually makes a sharp turn to the right, but appears to end in this image. This is why I printed it a bit darker than I otherwise would have, and gave it its current title.
