It is no secret that I love reflection images. In a way, this is a three for one deal: you get the reflecting image, the reflected image, and the combination of the two. If there is distortion of the reflected image then it becomes a bonus, as it adds depth and an additional dimension.
When possible I enjoy including reflecting and reflected images that either compliment or contrast one another. In this particular image the old building appears as a reflection of the new building. There will come a time in the future when the reflecting building will become the reflected building, winding down its useful life, ready to be replaced by the new.
