Fireworks are fun, and when one places them at the end of a Baseball game then the combination just cannot beat.
I have taken many pictures of fireworks in the past and was looking for something a little different this time around. In this particular case I decided to use infrared film and shot a number of exposures. As is the case with all fireworks images, chance played a large part in the final results.
In this particular case, I wanted to make sure that I was able to include the grounds crew enjoying the event, and the large, violent eruption at the time the image was exposed allowed for that. The lens flare allowed for the wonderful circular line at the top. Notice the leaves in the background trees have gone white, as is classic with infrared photography.
