There are places one often returns to shoot again and again. The location may be the same, but the feeling does not necessarily follow.
One of the locations I have repeatedly shot over the years is this little pond near Cheat Lake, West Virginia. I normally shoot the large rock in the water near the shore, but on this particular occasion I decided to take a picture of the dock.
This dock no longer exists, but when it did it represented to me a choice. That choice has now been taken away, as choices are often taken away from us, so now the decision has been made.
