Several years ago I took a number of pictures within the Washington Metro system. Eventually, I put together a slide show that mimicked my feelings on the travel into the city on a Tuesday morning, and used the images, along with music I composed 30 years ago.
This particular image was one I particularly enjoyed, and for a while used it as a visual moniker. It was taken standing against a wall and handholding the camera as people rushed past me on their way to work. The blur worked in concert with my feelings at the time.
