This year’s Photowalk found me at Solomons, MD, where I spent the day photographing. The temperature hovered around 100F most of the day, but the breeze that wandered through the peninsula made this quite tolerable. I spent the afternoon shooting digitally, but by the time the group of 42 came together I had switched to using my Certo Six camera, the only one of the group to be shooting with film.
As the sun began to set, many of the participants headed over to the place we had planned to have dinner. However, I didn’t want to finish things too soon, so I wandered back down toward The Narrows to finish the roll of 120 film in my camera. Displayed here is the last frame I shot, which was the final frame on the roll. It pretty much summed up the day.
