19th Century Banker

I meet once a month with other photographers who have an interest in alternative process photography.  A couple of months ago we made tintypes of one another.  As the exposure time for the wet plate technology was around 45 seconds, one can understand why not many people smiled when they had their pictures taken.

I decided to think of what a 19th Century Banker would look like and struck the appropriate pose, with the result as you see here.
