It has been a while since I made an entry here, but that has not been because I have been sitting on my hands. I was one of 30 photographers out of more than 250 to be selected to show at FotoDC Flash and dropped off four prints for next month’s show. I also have a solo show coming up in April in Columbia, MD, about five miles from where I live, so that will be rather convenient.
I have been developing ideas for my next project and have been shooting test shots for it. The project can go in several directions but for now I am shooting under the bridges in Baltimore as a start. The test shots have been with 35mm film, but my guess is that I will shoot the project in medium format and print large (16×20″), something I seldom do.
The first image is of a drain spout on a somewhat rainy day. This was printed on Oriental Portrait Warm Tone paper, which I love, but I do not have as much of this discontinued paper as I wish.
