Over the next few weeks I will offer a number of images I took while shooting on the streets of New York City.
As can be surmised, this particular one was taken on Broadway. This is the location to which I would point anyone thinking about shooting street photography, as it is the easiest place to shoot in the world. The subjects are varied and it seems that everyone has a camera, so blending in is rather simple.
This young lady was apparently handing out pamphlets for the play, Chicago. So what do you do when there is nobody to hand a pamphlet? Of course, strike a theatrical pose. Unnoticed to me at the time is the unattended bag on the ground to her right.
