Photoworks Celebration of Alternative Processes Symposium

Light and StairsI am very much looking forward to the Photoworks Celebration of Alternative Processes Symposium on 6 November, part of the FotoWeek DC Festival. I will be offering a talk about the Bromoil process and my work with it. In addition, the following speakers will be offering similar information about other alternative processes:

Barbara Maloney, “Temperaprint, Photo Etching, Cyanotype”
Scott Davis, “Platinum and Palladium”
Sheila Galagan, “Lith Printing”
Andrew Currie, “Tintype”
Grace Taylor, “VanDyke Brown”
Keith Williams, “Monobath, IR, UV”
Richard Pippin, “Lith Printing”

The talks free and lunch is provided, so it does not get much better than that. Things start at 11am and the location is:

Photoworks Celebration of Alternative Processes Symposium
7300 MacArthur Boulevard, Second floor Arcade Building
Glen Echo, Maryland

Following that I will be attending the Photo Slam , which looks to be a lot of fun.
