In 1979 I got a job managing a toy store in Frederick, Maryland and left West Virginia. My parents built a house in the Cheat Lake area, and whenever I returned to visit them I went across the Ices Ferry Bridge. I always felt that it had character, certainly more than the replacement that is being built.
This is a pinhole shot of the bridge made on 4×5″ film, printed on Ilford Warm Tone paper.
The demolition of the bridge can be seen at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGIOcetK6k0 (you can advance the video to the 2:45 mark).
Luv the tone of the photo
